Gamertag:M4ttyB11 How long have you've been in simulation: january 2014 Why do you want to join ACE (1 paragraph):
Having experience with caw being the leader of WAW, i want a platform where i can learn under established people and a place where i can just do matches without having to worry about making story lines or deciding who to book and who to book them with, i would like to join ACE so i can put myself out there as an actual iwrestler rather than just WAW's gm.
Personal Real Name: Matt Baker Gender: male D.O.B: 11th july 1990 Hometown: bury st edmunds, england Nationality: british Height: 6"4 Weight: 234 lbs
Professional Ring Name: Matt Baker Nickname(s): the code of charisma Trained By: NA - no one has 'trained me' i've learnt through playing matches with people Crowd Affiliation: tweener i.e i can be the face or heel in the match depending on the nature of that match.
Gimmick (Be specific, 2+ paragraphs): catchphrases: because that's...how the code runs! / in life you rule or be ruled. his gimmick is 'the code of charisma' i mashup of his wrestling role models christian, chris jericho and edge, when portraying a face he will tend to incite the crowd either by saying something to get a cheap pop or at the oppsoing person's expense e.g. a witty or sarcastic remark to make the other person look stupid or at a lesser position than Matt. When portraying a heel Matt shows a more arrogant side of him in the sense he will always resort to boasting about how he put WAW on the map by holding the WAW championship at a time before showdown existed, quoting that in life you 'rule or be ruled' as he will do whatever it takes to be in a position of power. in terms of his in ring attitude whether face or heel his style is to target the back and head/neck setting up for his finishing manoeuvres but will target the legs if the person he is facing is significantly faster. he employs a range of neckbreakers/ddt's followed with strike moves like uppercuts and the calf kick.
this gimmick may appear a rip off and unoriginal but i have had it since svr 2008 so i've have made it my own so to speak.
Biography (Be specific): Growing up Matt had a very normal childhood, nothing bad happened and he had a very good quality of life, at a young age he started to watch WWE around the time of the 'ruthless aggression' era and at the time his favourites were brock lesnar and eddie guerrero (from whom he adopted the frog splash as a regular move) eventually he would stop watching wrestling for a time until he stumbled across TNA which at the time was the only company he could watch as he didn't have the sports channels for WWE, as he started to get into watching it he instantly started to take a liking towards the two stars christian cage and aj styles, after becoming fans of them he started to search them on the internet and youtube and learnt about christian's run in the WWE as 'captain charisma' which was a gimmick that at the time was over and Matt came to love the gimmick. through finding out about gimmick he came across Y2J chris jericho, after learning about him as well he decided to create the 'code of charisma' moniker, something he has used since. When the time came for him to find a company for him to wrestle for he found a newly created company in WAW, he had various dark matches and impressed the owners enough to let him join. Matt almost over night became popular with the fans and acquired a fan base he referred to as the coalition of charisma. throughout his time in WAW he achieved two world title reigns. In late 2013, WAW acquired a major amount of funding and became televised on youtube, when this happened WAW had a complete overhaul wiping the slate clean, on episode 3 Matt made his re debut beating Lee Akira, the following episode WAW hosted a battle royal to crown the new WAW champion where Matt was the 4th person eliminated, the match was eventually won by lee Akira, on episode 9 Matt won a number one contenders match against Roberto De Marco to earn a shot at Lee's title, WAW then acquired more funding and branched out with it's own channel, the newly crowned 'WAWHD' would only have one episode however as the company reshuffled and made the transition from offline to online. However on this final episode Matt beat Akira to win his 3rd WAW championship, the reign was short lived however as he had to relinquish the title when WAW SHOWDOWN was born. when SHOWDOWN was created Matt was hired as the GM as at the time we was WAW's longest serving competitor so had the most experience. to this day Matt has took that GM role with a positive attitude with the fans in mind...
