WrestleFury Dojo London, England. July 2nd, 2014.
We see a darkened gymnasium with a shadowy figure inside a wrestling ring. The figure looks to be in the Tree of Woe position, hanging upside down on the turnbuckle by his legs. The figure is slowly crunching his body with sit-ups from this position, almost getting his head to touch his knees, something the human body is not meant to do. As the camera comes closer, with the rays of the setting sun coming through the windows of the gymnasium, we recognize the figure to be WrestleFury Dojo member, Brent Delivine. From the amount of sweat on his body and a vain visible on the forehead of the red-faced Delivine, it is quite clear that he's been here for hours training. Brent climbs down from the turnbuckle, grabbing a towel that was draped over one of the wrestling ropes and wipes his forehead with it, grabbing the water bottle from the middle of the ring and taking a large chug of the clear substance. He then exits the ring, sitting on the apron, head down, not facing the camera, still short on breath from his hours of training. " *Pant* *Pant* It's hard to think that at one point *pant* no one *pants* NO ONE! took me seriously a few years ago!Taking another gulp from his water bottle, collecting himself " *Pant* but the WrestleFury Dojo changed that... I was just another face to come in and come out of a wrestling ring 2 years ago. One of those guys you expect to have one match and then lose and then leave, never to be heard from again, and I know deep down everyone wanted me to be that guy.... and you know why...why I am not that guy?He lifts his head to look straight at the camera Because I REFUSE to be that guy... Every loss, I was told just to pack up and go, but every week I was the first one to come back. And do you know why that is? because this! this is all i know how to do! He pats the ring apron like it were a loyal pet I never had a passion for anything else in this world before. No motives. No goals. The day I got into wrestling, I knew this was my passion. my motive.... but my goal... I'm not there yet.
You see. My goal is to become one of the first guys to ever come from the no name rookie that no one ever wanted to succeed and become a name that no one will forget. This.... THIS IS IN MY BLOOD!
My father, Stuart Delivine did this before me. They called him "The Lion" because he was brave. He was strong. And he was dedicated to the sport of professional wrestling. Not the pageantry, but the SPORT of professional wrestling. Clean and cut-throat, that's what describes his style the best, and ever since I stepped into this, I seemingly lost my way. But, Scott Barnett helped me up from that slump. PWR may have been just a short going thing, but that introduced me to Scott and when he took me under his wing and taught me his ways, I found my winning ways and now no one and I mean NO ONE takes me as a joke anymore. No one says "Brent Who" anymore.
...For that. I am forever loyal to my mentor, Scott Barnett. I am forever loyal to the WrestleFury Dojo. And my loyalty to WrestleFury will help me achieve my goal here in ACE. Championship gold is one honor... but there is another I have set my sights on... And that is proving that WrestleFury is the best camp here in ACE. I will raise the battle flag high for the WrestleFury Dojo and i will go into combat with my WrestleFury brothers to run down the on-coming casualties of war. We will slaughter the Slaughterhouse. We will lead OUR crusade against the Crusade Acadamy. And we will spill the blood of the Bloodhaven! He looks down at his hands, before clenching them into fists Like my father...I too am a lion... WrestleFury is my pride...The Multi-man championship....The Intensity Championship...The Mystic Championship... The Horizon Championship... And the Prestige Championship... It's all going to be spoils for the victors...He looks up. Intensity in his eyes And we. Will never. Surrender! As Brent gets off the apron and walks past the camera, the camera pans out to show the apron Brent was sitting ontop of. The WrestleFury logo softly moving with the breeze. The camera cuts to black at the sound of the WrestleFury Dojo door slamming shut. - End of transmission -
